EU Reset is a EU-wide blog and discussion forum for identifying and analyzing superfluous and wasteful EU regulation and administration.
EU Reset is not a political site, all arguments are meant to be factual and neutral, except of course the basic premise that EU needs to be scaled down to the basics.
EU needs to be reset to things that are of importance for the functioning of the Common Market and international relations. Free movement of goods and ideas are not contested by this site. Common prosperity and security for all citizens of EU must be protected. But any ideological ideas such as universal rights for migrants and economic immigrants are deemed outside the reasonable scope of EU.
EU Reset works for focusing the EU institutions on non-ideological matters. And restrict EU to the most narrow interpretation of the subsidiarity principle. If a matter is just as well or better solved at a member state level, it is off limits for the Commission and Parliament.
